System of Quality

Internal System of Quality Assurance at the Faculty of Management

At the Faculty of Management there is the Internal System of Quality Assurance, which plays an important role in the Faculty policy.  The system is cohesive with the University Regulations on quality assurance (according to the  AGH Senate Resolution no 19/2007). The term quality assurance at the Faculty refers to all the policies and procedures, ongoing review processes and actions designed to ensure that programmes and qualifications meet and maintain specified standards of education, scholarship, and infrastructure.
Internal System of Quality Assurance at the Faculty of Management consists of the documents:
- Guidance to the Internal System of Quality Assurance at the Faculty of Management
- Internal Procedures on Quality Assurance (e.g. teachers' evaluation procedure, students' evaluation procedure, internship procedure etc.)

 

The main objectives of the Internal System of Quality Assurance at the Faculty of Management:

  • Monitoring and increasing the quality of education at the Faculty of Management
  • Increasing the role of didactical work
  • Creating standards and regulations on quality assurance that will be comparable and compatible throughout the Europe, in particular under the Lisbon recognition
  • Increasing the students mobility
  • Promotion of the Faculty

 

Quality assurance has also a function of enhancement and improvement of higher education system or programmes at the Faculty. Therefore, the Internal System of Quality Assurance is systematically developed according to the expectations, challenges and needs of the internal and external environment. The accountability for the execution of the Internal System of Quality Assurance is guaranteed by the Faculty Authorities - the Dean of the Faculty as well as the Deputy Deans or the Directors of the Departments at the Faculty.
